Academic Discipline & Standards
As prospective teachers and education professionals, trainees at Namrup College of Teacher Education are expected to uphold the highest standards of punctuality, integrity, classroom decorum, and academic dedication throughout their 2-year tenure.
General Conduct & Discipline

Students are expected to maintain discipline and uphold the dignity of the institution within and outside the campus.

Any form of ragging, harassment or discrimination is strictly prohibited and will invite disciplinary action.
Attendance Requirements

Students must maintain the minimum attendance as prescribed for the B.Ed. program to be eligible for appearing in examinations.

Absence on medical or other genuine grounds should be supported by relevant documents and informed to the authority in time.
Uniform & Dress Code

The college prescribes a simple and formal dress code for students during working days and practicum activities.

Library & Laboratory Use

Students should handle books, laboratory equipment and other resources with care and follow issued instructions.

Silence and a conducive academic environment must be maintained in the library at all times.
Examinations & Assessment

Internal assessments, practicum and assignments are compulsory components of the B.Ed. program.

Students must adhere to all examination rules framed by Dibrugarh University and the college.
